We recently visited The Gallery, a charming bar just a couple of minutes from West Hampstead tube station. The atmosphere is intimate, relaxed, and cosy, with soft lighting and a mix of sofas, tables, and bench seating. One of the highlights is the interior balcony, which offers a great view of the whole bar, though it only has four tables. If you can, I’d recommend sitting there. The décor, featuring vintage-style photos and candle lighting, makes it a perfect spot for meeting friends or going on a date. Prices for drinks are reasonable for London, and they offer a great variety of craft beers, wines, and cocktails. Though we didn’t try the food, the efficient and polite staff made sure we were never waiting long to be served. One downside is the street outside, which often has open rubbish bags, detracting from the overall experience. Still, The Gallery is definitely one of the best bars in West Hampstead, full of personality and worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Beautiful chicken and even better vibes! The customer service is amazing and that’s unfortunately unusual for busy London. Didn’t feel rushed with our orders even though the place was quite busy It’s not often I leave reviews but I am impressed Oh And shout out to Georgina for being lovely and charming to my elderly Aunty
The Gallery has a certain vibe. I like it even more because they allow dogs in. Although not really hungry, I ordered corn bread with chives butter. Soft and crumbly when hot, its mild sweetness becomes together and remains soft as it slowly loses its temperature.
What a fantastic discovery! This cozy wine bar offers a warm, inviting atmosphere and an impressive—albeit concise—selection of wines by the glass, all at very reasonable prices. I started with their house wine, a Macabeu, which was surprisingly good, and followed it with a Viognier that I thoroughly enjoyed. The bar also features a great collection of vinyl, adding to the relaxed vibe, and they serve food as well. While chatting with the bartender, I learned they have several locations across the city, so I’ll definitely be visiting the one closer to home. They also rotate their wine menu at least four times a year and host tastings, which is a great touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really made the experience stand out. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in Hampstead!
Absolutely love this place, Frankie and the team are always bringing impeccable vibes and service! Food is delicious (can't wait to try the new menu!!) And the drinks selection is always on point. This has become my favourite local, Thanks guys!

What an amazing gem that my partner and I stumbled upon on our last day in London. Great selection of pretty much every drink you can think of. Very friendly staff and quick service. Sometimes I daydream about the fried chicken we had.. Definitely some of the best I’ve ever had. Looking forward to visiting again when we’re next in the big city.
So I have been coming to this place for years but this last visit left an impression on my stomach:) Food was 10-10. We sat on the window seat watching the world going by...with our zingy bloody Mary's and fab food. 2 of us shared the mushrooms on toast, then the star was the French toast with caramelised bacon and maple syrup...yum! Service and vibe was fab...plus free pool table downstairs..Will be back
